Our facilities primarily produce advanced biofuels, including biodiesel, from sustainably cultivated hemp seed oil. Utilizing a transesterification process, we achieve an impressive experimental yield of 95.24% under optimized conditions. MnT BioTech's hemp biodiesel meets international quality standards (EN 14214 and ATSM D6751) and offers a superior yield of over 800 liters per acre per year, surpassing other common biofuel crops. This contributes directly to enhancing U.S. energy independence and reducing reliance on volatile fossil fuels.
On-Demand Green Energy: Powering Local Grids with Waste Gasification
Secondarily, each MNT BIOTECH facility generates 1-5 MW of green electricity from syngas, a combustible gas mixture derived through the thermochemical gasification of hemp hurd, plastic waste, tire waste, and general municipal solid waste (MSW). This electricity seamlessly integrates into local power grids, providing reliable, on-demand power. Gasification is a mature technology, ensuring continuous electricity production given the constant availability of diverse feedstocks. We actively mitigate technical challenges like tar formation through advanced gas cleaning technologies and optimized reactor design.
